WaX Final Conference in Berlin

On March 12 and 13, 2025, the final conference of our WaX funding measure took place in Berlin and we are pleased that we were able to present our results from the past 3 years. In his presentation, Prof. Baumann focused on the one hand on the model implementation of the large-scale storage, which clearly shows how the concept of Smart-SWS is implementable. On the other hand, we were able to present our pilot plant in Hüll with the results of the infiltration and tracer tests, thus demonstrating the feasibility and added value of MAR with heavy rainfall in Bavaria.

We are now starting our final year of the project, which was made possible by the extension, with a focus on the automated operation of the pilot plant and the transfer of practical experience and knowledge.
